About me
"How wonderful to empower people and make them realize the beauty they have already achieved and can still achieve."
Like many, I too have been through a lot in my life and faced all kinds of challenges. I have embarked on a lot of inner work through conversations with various therapists and tried various types of alternative medicine, the aim being to move forward with my life path and develop myself even more.
I have long had my desire to work independently as a holistic and intuitive therapist/coach. In recent years, my focus has been on raising my daughters. As they are getting older and more independent, there is more space for me and my work for which I have tremendous passion.
How wonderful it is to empower people and make them realize how much they have already achieved and can still achieve. Actually “empowering” people and letting them experience what they already know inwardly. Through all the courses and training I have taken, but of course also through my own life experiences and extensive experience in coaching people on their life path.
I very much look forward to meeting you and seeing together how I can guide you through the life issues you are facing. Call me for an introductory meeting and let’s see what I can do for you!
"What I found most special about this Access Bar treatment was that with a very gentle touch from Wendy (or even just by holding her hands over certain points) so much happens in your body."

My path to now
I grew up abroad (born in 1981), because of my father’s work and successively lived in Oman, Qatar, Brunei, Indonesia and Syria. When I was 12 years old I went to boarding school in the Netherlands to attend my VWO in Oegstgeest. Living abroad was a learning and enjoyable experience, although the frequent moves brought many challenges. I learned to deal with many different types of people and diverse cultures both abroad and at boarding school. I became experienced in connecting quickly with others and gained immense people skills at a young age. After accommodation from the age of seventeen in Leiden, The Hague and Amsterdam, respectively, I finally moved to Voorburg.
In terms of education, I read Social Work and Services (now Social Work) at The Hague University of Applied Sciences and graduated cum laude. In my final year of MWD studies, I simultaneously took a number of philosophy and psychology courses at Leiden University. After this, I completed the study of Cultural Anthropology and Sociology of Non-Western Societies (both Bachelor and Master) at the University of Amsterdam in three years.
After working for ten years at a policy and consulting firm in The Hague, I thought it would be fun to have children. After the birth of my first daughter, I decided to primarily take care of her. Now I have three wonderful daughters, who hold up a mirror to me (almost) daily and from whom I also learn a lot. Motherhood is and always has been a good learning experience.
